From David Pirmann’s nycsubway.org: slide photographs by Joe Korman, taken between 1969 and 1972. Novel as postcards, they also achieve other, non-nostalgic, effects: the space and atmosphere, the loneliness of Korman’s subjects, and perhaps the loneliness of train-watching itself.
